Teknofast Very Fast Drying Bitumen Rubber Liquid Membrane

Product description
It is a water-based, bitumen rubber-based waterproofing material that provides excellent flexibility up to 2000%.

Application Instructions
Surface Preparation: The substrate must be completely clean, free of loose parts and solid.
Weak parts such as unsound dust, cement residue should be removed with pressurized water. Application: It is applied with a Teknofast double-headed spray machine. While one of the nozzles sprays Teknofast, the other sprays the accelerator. Teknofast can be applied to inclined places, horizontal and vertical surfaces. It should be mixed thoroughly for 5 minutes before use. Teknofast and liquid accelerator should also be sprayed at the rate of 1O: 1 (Teknofast 1 O: 1 part accelerator 1) The amount of Teknofast spray to be used to obtain a 4mm thick dry layer is 6.5 kg/m2.

It can be walked on 3 hours after the spraying process ends. Allow to dry for 5 days, depending on local weather conditions, for complete drying.

Application Notes / Limitations
• The spray gun should be moved horizontally and vertically at a continuous speed until the spraying process achieves the required thickness.
• Teknofast can be applied to damp surfaces, but not to surfaces covered with water.
• Do not apply during rain or when rain is expected.
• The waterproofing layer must be protected before refilling with soil.
• Protect the waterproofing membrane with flat drainage plates.
• Compaction of the refill to a distance of 2 m from the wall should be done with a manual vibratory hand-held compactor.
• Heavy compaction equipment should not be allowed to move close to a watertight wall.
• Backfill should not contain stones larger than 40mm.
• Store in a cool place to protect from direct sunlight and extreme heat.
• In tropical environments, the product should be stored in an air-conditioned environment.
• In cold climates, the product should be stored in a heated environment (+5°C).
• Shelf life is 12 months if stored in accordance with the above conditions.
