Teknobond 860 Epoxy Repair Mortar

Product description
It is a solvent-free, 3-component, repair mortar consisting of a combination of specially graded aggregates and high-strength epoxy resins. After mixing, it has a consistency that can be applied with a trowel and shows very good adhesion to cementitious surfaces.

Application Instructions
Surface Quality: Surfaces should be clean, smooth, solid, free from all kinds of dust, oil, dirt, rust, mold oil, detergent, etc. There should be no puddles, moisture and dampness on the concrete floor. It must be a dry ground, the concrete surface moisture must be below 4%.

Surface Preparation: It should be prepared by cleaning with appropriate mechanical surface preparation techniques such as high pressure water jet, vacuum, roughening, sandblasting.

Surface and Ambient Temperature: (+)5°C - (+)35°C

Mixing: Pour component B into component A. Mix with a low-speed electric mixer until the mixture in the cloudy appearance reaches a completely homogeneous appearance. Then pour the mixture into a suitable container and add component C slowly and continuously, continue mixing for at least 3 minutes until a homogeneous mortar is obtained.

Application Method / Equipment: The prepared mixture should be applied with a trowel on the surface primed with Teknobond 300, before the primer dries completely, depending on the air temperature and environmental conditions.

Consumption: Density 2.00 ± 0.05 kg/lt.

Cleaning: After application, it should be protected against adverse weather conditions such as direct sunlight, strong wind, high air temperature (over +35°C), rain and frost. Before the product fully cures and hardens, hands and skin contact areas should be cleaned with water and detergent. In case of contact with eyes, a doctor should be consulted after washing with plenty of warm water and detergent.

Cleaning of Equipment: Equipment should be cleaned with Tekno Thinner immediately after the application, before it hardens. After the product hardens, it should be cleaned by mechanical methods.

Application Notes / Limitations
• It should be protected from sun, rain and frost for the first 3 hours in outdoor applications.
• During the application of the product, work clothes in accordance with the rules of work and worker health should be worn, and appropriate glasses and masks should be used.
• It should not be forgotten that if the mixing ratios change, the strength and adhesion values ​​of the product will also change.
