Teknobond 220 Marble and Stone Adhesive

Product description
It is a polyester based, fast drying adhesive used in vertical bonding, filling and repair works of granite, artificial and natural stones.

Usage areas
It is used for vertical and horizontal bonding of all granite, marble, artificial and natural stones.

Application details
Surface Quality: The application surface must be dry and free from all kinds of dust, dirt, weak and loose particles, cement grout residues, oil and grease.

Surface Preparation: The application surface must be compressed air holding, etc., in order to provide the highest adhesion strength. must be cleared using the following methods.

Surface and Ambient Temperature: Minimum (+) 5°C and maximum (+) 35 °C.

Application Instructions Mixing: Take the amount of A component to be applied and approximately 2-3% of this is taken from Component B and quickly mixed with a trowel and applied to the surface to be applied. After the product is mixed, it gives an average working time of 2-3 minutes at 20 °C. During this time, the mixed product should be finished. After the application, the surface to be transported becomes ready for use within 15-30 minutes in an environment at 20 °C. Ossification rate may vary according to the ambient air temperature.

Application Method / Equipment
The prepared mixture is applied to the surface to be adhered with a spatula.

Consumption: It varies depending on the workmanship and the roughness of the floor.

Cleaning: The places that come into contact with the skin and hands should be washed with soap and water. In case of contact with eyes, consult a doctor.

Cleaning of Equipment: Immediately after the application, before it hardens; tools should be cleaned with Tekno Thinner. Cured epoxy grout can only be cleaned mechanically.

Potlife: ~3-6 minutes at 20°C

Cleaning Time: ~10 minutes at 20°C

Application Notes / Limitations
• All mastication processes should be done at temperatures above (+) 10°C. Because the moisture on the surface affects the adhesion negatively.
• Do not add solvent etc. into Teknobond 220 during application. Do not add foreign matter.
• Use mask, gloves, goggles. Follow the occupational safety rules.
