Product description
It is a polyurethane-based, single-component joint sealant used indoors and outdoors, with high elasticity, cured by air humidity, used in horizontal and vertical joints.

Usage areas
• In highway and bridge joints,

• At the joints of water channels and flumes,
• In construction joints narrower than 3,5 cm,
• Hospitals, residences, shopping malls, on the exterior of windows, doors, joinery edges,

Application Instructions
Surface Quality: Surfaces should be clean, smooth, solid and dry, weak parts should be removed from the surface. Do not apply on damp surfaces.

Surface Preparation: Joints should be thoroughly cleaned with a wire brush, spiral or sandblasting prior to application, and dust should be cleared by blowing air into the joint space.
Masking tape is adhered to the upper parts of the joints, not to the middle. This application must be done in order to prevent the mastic from spreading around and to ensure that it comes out properly. It is used with a cartridge/sausage gun/mouth-loading gun to press the sealant into the joint. After TEKNOPOLIDERZ 1K is placed inside the sausage gun, the end of the package is opened. The tip of the cannula is adjusted according to the joint opening to be applied. By pressing the trigger of the sausage gun, the polyurethane sealant that has been stripped from its packaging is made to move forward. 3-5 minutes after the mastic hardens, the gloved index finger is dipped in the soap bar. Afterwards, it is ensured that the surface is smoothed by back and forth movements on the applied mastic. After this process is completed, the masking tape is removed and thrown away.

Application Notes / Limitations
• All mastication processes should be done at temperatures above (+)5 °C.
• Because the moisture on the surface affects the adhesion negatively.
• The surfaces on which TEKNOPOLIDERZ 1K will be applied must be absolutely dry, free from moisture and dirt.
• It should be protected from water, frost and adverse weather conditions.
• It should be stored on wooden pallets in a dry and cool area between (+)10°C and (+)25°C.
• Opened products should be consumed as soon as possible.
• Shelf life is maximum 12 months if the above-mentioned storage conditions are followed.
