Product description

Application Instructions
Surface Quality: The surfaces must be clean, smooth, solid, free of all kinds of dust, oil, dirt, rust, mold oil, detergent, etc. In order for the wall to be built properly, the surfaces must be in balance. Weak parts should be removed.

Surface Preparation: The first surface where the aerated concrete surface comes into contact with the concrete should be moist but there should be no water puddle. It is recommended to moisten the mortar slightly beforehand in order to absorb the water.

Mixing: Take 6.5-8.5 lt. from normal ambient temperature into a clean container free of any non-adhesive substance. clean, clear water is poured. TEKNOFAY 500, which is in 25 kg bag in powder form, is poured into the container filled with water. The product is mixed with a low-speed mixer until a homogeneous mixture without lumps is obtained. Mixing time is minimum 5 minutes. should be. The mortar obtained at the end of the process takes 3 minutes. rest and again for 2 minutes. should be mixed until it becomes homogeneous.

Application Notes / Limitations
• The prepared mortar is spread on the surface with a notched trowel with suitable tooth size. The prepared mortar should be adhered to the aerated concrete within 5 minutes. If this time has passed, the mortar should be scraped from the surface and coatings and discarded. The bricks laid must be tamped from the top and the sides to make them suitable for the rope and the gauge.
• The amount of consumption given is theoretical and may vary depending on application temperature, aerated concrete brick size, surface and workmanship. We recommend sample application for consumption control.
• After the application, it should be protected against adverse weather conditions such as direct sunlight, strong wind, high air temperature (over +35°C), rain and frost. Before TEKNOFAY 500 is fully cured, hands should be cleaned with water and detergent.
• Equipment should be cleaned with water immediately after the application, before it hardens. After the product hardens, it should be cleaned by mechanical methods.
• The product may cause irritation in contact with the skin. Work clothes, protective gloves, masks and goggles should be used. Before starting work, a protective cream can also be applied to the hand. In case of contact with the eyes, the eyes should be immediately washed with warm water and a doctor should be consulted.
• It must be protected under (+) 5°C ambient conditions, it must be covered with nylon or heat insulation plates must be laid to prevent the product from being exposed to frost.
• It must be protected at temperatures above (+) 35°C, it must be covered with nylon or heat insulation plates must be laid to prevent the product from being exposed to sudden water loss.
• Do not add foreign matter.

Storage conditions
It should be stored in its unopened original package, in a cool and dry environment, protected from frost.
