Teknobond 400 Anchorage and Assembly Mortar

It is a two-component, high-strength epoxy material with a thixotropic consistency, specially developed for overhead and horizontal applications, used in all kinds of anchoring, bonding and repair works.

Usage areas
• In the repair of all kinds of materials such as concrete stones in the planting of iron ore,

Application Instructions
Surface Quality: The application surface must be dry and free from all kinds of dust, dirt, weak and loose particles, cement grout residues, oil and grease. The concrete substrate must be clean, strong and have sufficient compressive strength (at least 25 N/mm2), with a pull-off strength of at least 1.5 N/mm2.

Surface Preparation: Holes should be opened at least 4 mm wider than the diameter of the iron for sowing sprouts. Surfaces should be cleaned with compressed air, oil, dust, dirt and water should not remain. Anchors must be ribbed, dry, oil-free and rust-free.

Mixing: After adding component B to component A, mix for 2-3 minutes with a low speed electric mixer (maximum 400 rpm) until a homogeneous color is obtained.
The mixture is first applied to the hole and then to the iron. The iron ore is slowly turned and inserted into the hole. Insert a sledgehammer, hammer, etc., to make sure the hole is fully seated in the iron. hit with a hard object. The next day, it is tried to be pulled with an iron hand to make sure that the cured epoxy has hardened. This process gives an idea about whether the sprout planting is done correctly. It is recommended to test with a tensile testing machine, especially in reinforcement works.

Teknobond 400 can also be successfully applied in various jobs such as fixing iron to iron and iron to brick.

Application Notes / Limitations
• It should not be applied if the temperature is below (+)5°C.
• It is solvent free, it cannot be thinned with thinner.
• While mixing and applying, use rubber gloves and work glasses to protect your skin and eyes from being affected. Especially the eyes should be carefully protected.
• If it splashes into your eyes, rinse with plenty of water for about 15 minutes and consult a physician immediately.
• Do not add any foreign substance or water into the product.
• Since the product will harden immediately when mixed in extremely hot weather, the mixture should be made to be consumed.
• The material spilled and contaminated with the application equipment can be cleaned with Tekno Cleaning Thinner.
