Teknomer 120 Capillary Crystalline Waterproofing

Product description
It is a water impermeability concrete admixture in a crystalline structure that reacts with the moisture and free lime in the concrete of the chemical substances in its structure and makes waterproofing in negative and positive directions.

Application Instructions
TEKNOMER 120 is added to the concrete mixer at a rate of 2-3% and mixed for 3-5 minutes. It is recommended to make a preliminary trial for different applications.
It should be noted that the cement-water mixture ratio of the concrete to be added to TEKNOMER 120 should be less than 0.55. TEKNOMER 120 is mixed well before use. Working time is about 45 minutes after TEKNOMER 120 is added to the concrete. When using CEM il and 111 type portland cement, it is beneficial to use a set retarder. Compatibility tests should be carried out before use. If TEKNOMER 120 is stored below (+)8°C, crystallization may occur. After the material is mixed and homogenized, it can be reused.

Application Notes / Limitations
• After the application, it should be protected against adverse weather conditions such as direct sunlight, strong wind, high air temperature (over +35°C), rain and frost. Before the product is fully cured and hardened, hands should be cleaned with water and detergent. Protect against freezing.
• The product may cause irritation in contact with the skin. Work clothes, protective gloves, masks and goggles should be used. Before starting work, a protective cream can also be applied to the hand. In case of contact with the eyes, the eyes should be immediately washed with warm water and a doctor should be consulted.
• Do not add foreign matter.
• If the added Teknomer is cut from the water in the concrete up to 120, an increase in strength will also be seen.
