Teknomer 110 Crystallized Waterproofing Material

Product description
It is a cement-based, single-component, red colored waterproofing material that can be applied to concrete and concrete surfaces, forms a crystalline structure, reacts with water.

Application Instructions
The surfaces must be clean, smooth, solid, free from all kinds of dust, oil, dirt, rust, mold oil, detergent, etc. If there is segregation in the concrete, damaged and loose parts should be discarded and weak pieces should be removed. If there are cracks or cavities on the floor or wall where the application will be made, they should be repaired with appropriate TEKNOREP repair mortars. TEKNOMER 110 should be applied after 3-4 days. It should be ensured that the slope screed or concrete is poured in the direction of the water flow. The correct control of the slope is done as follows. A gauge is held from the beginning to the drain, and a scale is placed on it. If it is determined that there is no slope or there is a reverse slope as a result of the control, the application should not be started, the water flow direction should be adjusted by processing the concrete and screed. If necessary, additional screed or concrete should be poured.
If the surface to be insulated is dry, it should be wetted and saturated with water and made ready for application. The TEKNOMER 110 additive, which is determined according to the cement dosage of the concrete in the truck mixer, is mixed with approximately 7-7.5 kg of water by weight, in a suitable container, with a low-speed drill, and turned into an aqueous syrup. The prepared mixture is added to the rotating transmixer. Each mixture should be prepared to contain at most one bag of TEKNOMER 110 and added to the concrete. In order to obtain a homogeneous mixture, the mixing time in the truck mixer should be approximately 4-5 minutes.

Application Notes / Limitations
• It should be used not to exceed 7 kg in 1 m3.
• It should be used at the rate of 2% of the cement dosage.
• Do not throw TEKNOMER 110 in powder form into the transmixer to prevent clumping.
• After adding TEKNOMER 110, the transmixer should never be stopped until the concrete is poured.
• After concrete pouring, the concrete surface should be cured with TEKNOKÜR 100.
• Since it is cement based, do not breathe the dust, do not contact the skin and eyes.
• Foreign materials should not be added.
