Application Instructions
Surface Quality: The surfaces must be clean, smooth, solid, free of all kinds of dust, oil, dirt, rust, mold oil, detergent, etc. If there is segregation in the concrete, damaged and loose parts should be discarded and weak pieces should be removed. If there are cracks or cavities on the floor or wall where the application will be made, they should be repaired with appropriate TEKNOREP 510 repair mortars. The application of TEKNOMER 500 should be started after 3-4 days.

Surface Preparation: If the surface to be insulated is dry, it should be wetted and saturated with water and made ready for application. Sharp corners and edges should be chamfered with TEKNOREP 510 repair mortar.

Application Notes / Limitations
• Since it is based on hydraulic lime, do not breathe the dust, do not touch the skin and eyes.
• Do not apply on wood, chipboard, mdf, plywood, PVC and metal surfaces.
• Only its own liquid should be used in the mixture. Absolutely no water should be added.
• Foreign materials should not be added.
• Protection is required to achieve the long-term performance expected from the product. Precautions should be taken against all kinds of punctures, scratches and impacts that may occur after the application.
First, liquid B component of Teknomer 500 is poured into a clean container that is free of any substance preventing adhesion. Then, the powdered Teknomer 500 A component is poured slowly. The product is mixed with a low-speed mixer until a homogeneous mixture without lumps is obtained. Mixing time is minimum 5 minutes. should be. The mortar obtained at the end of the process takes 3 minutes. rest and again for 2 minutes. should be mixed until it becomes homogeneous.
• After the application, it should be protected against adverse weather conditions such as direct sunlight, strong wind, high air temperature (over +35°C), rain and frost. Before the product is fully cured, hands should be cleaned with water and detergent.
• Equipment should be cleaned with water immediately after the application, before it hardens. After the product hardens, it must be cleaned by mechanical methods.
• TEKNOMER 500; After it is thoroughly mixed and rested, it is applied to the water-saturated surface with the help of a brush and/or roller without losing its moisture. After the first setting of the material, the second layer is applied in the vertical direction of the first layer application. If desired, carrier glass fiber can be used as reinforcement between floors. Waiting time between coats; After the application of the first layer, when there is no trace on the fingers in the manual control, other layers can be passed.
