Product description
It is a cement-based, one-component, waterproofing material applied to concrete surfaces, forming a crystalline structure, reacting with water.

Application Instructions
Surface Quality: The surfaces must be clean, smooth, solid, free of all kinds of dust, oil, dirt, rust, mold oil, detergent, etc. If there is segregation in the concrete, damaged and loose parts should be discarded and weak pieces should be removed. If there are cracks or cavities on the floor or wall where the application will be made, they should be repaired with appropriate TEKNOREP repair mortars. TEKNOMER 100 should be applied after 3-4 days. It should be ensured that the slope screed or concrete is poured in the direction of the water flow. The correct control of the slope is done as follows. A gauge is held from the beginning to the drain, and a scale is placed on it. If it is determined that there is no slope or there is a reverse slope as a result of the control, the application should not be started, the water flow direction should be adjusted by processing the concrete and screed. If necessary, additional screed or concrete should be poured.

Surface Preparation: If the surface to be insulated is dry, it should be wetted and saturated with water and made ready for application. 6,0 - 7,0 liters of clean, clear water taken from normal ambient temperature is placed in a clean container free of all kinds of substances preventing sticking. Teknomer 100 in powder form, in a 20 kg bag, is poured into the container filled with water. The product is mixed with a low-speed mixer until a homogeneous mixture without lumps is obtained. Mixing time should be at least 5 minutes. The mortar obtained at the end of the process should be rested for 3 minutes and mixed again for 2 minutes until it becomes homogeneous.

TEKNOMER 100 application is done in three ways;

• By brush: On dry floors, the concrete surface is moistened and saturated with water. There may be moisture on the surface, not puddles or ponding. If water is constantly coming, leakage and flow should be stopped with TEKNOPLUG. Then the prepared mixture is applied to the surface with a brush in 2-3 layers. The application can be done by hard bristle brush or mechanical spraying method. The application is completed with the first from left to right and the second from top to bottom. The waiting time between coats is done as follows. When the concrete floor is checked in the manual inspection, if TEKNOMER 100 does not leave any traces on the hand, the application of the other floor can be started.

• Manual Spreading Method: Before pouring the foundation reinforced concrete, TEKNOMER 100 is manually sprinkled on the lean concrete over the raft bars. TEKNOMER 100 is then poured with reinforced concrete for waterproofing optionally. TEKNOMER 100 is added to the concrete mixer at a rate of 2-3% and mixed for 3-5 minutes. It is recommended to make a preliminary trial for different applications.

• In the concrete mixture: 2-3% of the cement dosage is added to the TEKNOMER 100 concrete mixer and mixed for 3-5 minutes. It is recommended to make a preliminary trial for different applications.

Application Notes / Limitations
The TEKNOMER 100 additive, determined according to the cement dosage of the concrete in the truck mixer, is mixed with approximately 6.0 - 7.0 lt water by weight in a suitable container with a low-speed drill and turned into an aqueous syrup. The prepared mixture is added to the rotating transmixer. Each mixture should be prepared to contain at most one bag of TEKNOMER 100 and added to the concrete. In order to obtain a homogeneous mixture, the mixing time in the truck mixer should be approximately 4-5 minutes.

• Comply with work safety precautions. Use gloves, masks and goggles while using the product.
• Since it is cement based, do not breathe the dust, do not contact the skin and eyes.
• Do not apply on wood, chipboard, mdf, plywood, PVC and metal surfaces.
• Only the specified amount of water can be used in the mixture. Absolutely no more water should be added.
• Foreign materials should not be added.
• After the application, it should be protected against adverse weather conditions such as direct sunlight, strong wind, high air temperature (over +35 °C), rain and frost. Before the product is fully cured, hands should be cleaned with water and detergent.
• Equipment should be cleaned with water immediately after the application, before it hardens. After the product hardens, it should be cleaned by mechanical methods.
